Lavender hydrosol is a fragrant, water-based product created during the steam distillation of lavender flowers to produce lavender essential oil. It contains water-soluble components of the lavender plant, offering a milder, more subtle scent than the essential oil. Essentially, it's lavender-infused water. My favorite uses include: linen spray; freshen up nearly everything, upholstery, countertops, luggage, rugs, and yoga mats. I know of some folks who even freshen up their fur babies (doggies and horses come to mind). It is especially soothing and cooling misted over skin. The all-knowing internet has a wealth of knowledge for other suggested uses.
PLEASE: 1. Use common sense and if you are unsure, give it a small patch test before dousing something with hydrosol. 2. Be sure to store hydrosol in a cool and dark location. Light and heat will diminish all of the goodness.
We process and ship orders twice a week, on Mondays and Wednesdays. Orders ship as soon as they're processed. Once your package is handed off to the carrier, you'll receive tracking information so you can follow its journey.
We ship from an island, which means every package takes a ferry ride before reaching a mainland distribution center. Occasionally, ferry delays or cancellations can cause packages to miss cutoff times, adding an extra day to transit.
