Return & Exchange Policy

At Salish Sea Soapworks, we’re proud of the products we make and want you to be delighted with your order. If you’re not completely satisfied, we’re happy to offer a full refund—just let us know!

Timeframe: Products must be returned within 30 days of your purchase date.


How to Return

Step 1: Email us at info@salishseasoapworks.com with:

  • Your name
  • Order number
  • Items you’d like to return

We’ll reply within three business days with a return authorization.

Step 2: Package your products securely to prevent damage during transit.

Step 3: Send your return to:

Note: Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility. We highly recommend using a trackable carrier, as we cannot refund lost returns.

Step 4: Most returns are processed within two business days of receipt. You’ll receive an email confirmation when your return or exchange has been processed.


How to Exchange

For damaged or imperfect products:

  • Let us know within one week of receiving your order.
  • Email us at info@salishseasoapworks.com with a brief description and, if possible, photos of the issue.
  • We’ll send a replacement at our cost right away.

For other exchanges:

  • Email us at info@salishseasoapworks.com to start your request.
  • Once we receive the returned item, we’ll issue store credit, which can be used toward any other product.

Other Terms for Returns & Exchanges

  • We accept used products only if soaps are more than 60% of their original weight and bottles are not empty or nearly empty.
  • Shipping costs are non-refundable.
  • Promotions or discounts are not refunded; store credit for exchanges is based on the purchase price only.
  • If a refund to the original payment method isn’t possible, we’ll issue a store credit.
  • Purchases made with gift cards or store credit will be reimbursed as store credit.
  • Free promotional items or gifts included with your order are not eligible for return or exchange.
  • Returns or exchanges must be initiated within 30 days of purchase.
