Lavender Essential Oil-.5oz (15mL)

I have a hand in every step, from bud to bottle. Harvesting, distilling, separating, and bottling; it keeps my hands busy! My husband John helps a lot; he does all of the heavy lifting. I couldn’t complete the whole process without him. Our essential oil is distilled from “Grosso” lavender (Lavandula x intermedia). Grosso has a little sharper note than the English varieties, which are more floral. It has a very high yield of oil, which is why it is used in most scented products and is likely what you recall lavender to smell like. The most common uses for lavender essential oil are: aromatherapy, promoting relaxation and a sense of calm, bath additive, home freshener, and diluted with a carrier oil for skin care applications.

The good old interweb has a wealth of information for additional uses. While lavender essential oil is on the friendly end of the spectrum, please handle with care, do not use internally, always dilute and test before any broad skin application, and keep out of the reach of kiddos.
